This Master of Business Administration or MBA Hospitality Management prepares young professionals for senior managerial positions through a focus on problem solving, data-driven decision making, and strategic business and leadership development.

The curriculum is developed in collaboration with industry experts to ensure maximum relevance to industry trends and demands. It is delivered by an experienced, international faculty. The program includes leadership lectures, real-world project collaboration with hospitality companies to implement leadership problem-solving skills, a dissertation and specialization courses in Marketing or Finance.

MBA HOSPITALITY WITH FINANCE

Financial management is a core competency for executive managers in today’s competitive global hospitality sector.  Showing solid knowledge of key financial principles related to revenue, real-estate and investment strategies will give the graduate an added value to progress rapidly up the ladder of a hospitality organization.

 MBA HOSPITALITY WITH MARKETING

Hospitality consumer expectations are constantly increasing and the power to reserve, review and choose online is changing the way hospitality companies do marketing. Having key competencies in brand and digital marketing strategies will give the graduate many opportunities to develop and prove expertise in the digital era.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MBA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

Age - Normally aged 24 years old or above. 

Education - Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree from an accredited Institution of higher learning in any field. 

English Qualifications - If you are not a native English speaker, or if you have not spent the last 3 years in an English-taught school, please enclose one of the following:

1.      TOEFL: minimum score of 550 points for the paper based test or 80 on the Internet Based Test (IBT). The TOEFL testing code number for Les Roches is 9827. 
2.      Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE): Grade A or Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE): grade C. Please also send the statement of results with your detailed profile.

3.      I.E.L.T.S : Academic Module minimum Overall Band Score of 5.5 and min. 5.0 in each part (listening, reading, writing, speaking).

Interview - The school may require a phone or personal interview before admission into the program. 

ADMISSIONS

·         Intake Dates – July/August, January/February

Cost of the program: $ 75,100 ( include main fees, room and board and other fees)
Duration: 1 year
 

Main Fees:

Tuition, school nurse, some events and facilities (i.e. conferences, leisure and sports activities, library), administration costs, laundry and ironing of professional clothes (kitchen and service), other school supplies, visitor’s tax, cantonal and communal taxes (only if living in campus accommodation), administration charges for the visa and work permit (excluding where there are legal and court  charges, if the visa or permit is refused and an appeal is made), administration charges for internship(s), Swiss VAT, membership  for the Alumni Association of Les Roches, tutoring (when necessary), industry presentations, examiner fees and career counseling.  

Room and Board fees:

 Room and board fees include accommodation in a double room in Bluche or Crans-Montana, full board (3 meals a day, 5 days  a week, as well as brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays). Subject to availability, students can book a single room for an additional fee to the double room. Single room accommodation at Les Roches is limited, therefore rooms are preregistered on first-paid first-served basis (pre-payment and single room supplement), but are allocated only upon the  reception of the full payment of the school fees, before the deadline of 15th November (for the winter intake) or  15th May (for the summer intake).

There are other fees such as laptop fees, parking fees and lab fees.
