Road trip through Italy, France and Spain!

Road trip through Italy, France and Spain!

With such a wonderful choice of study abroad programs in Europe each academic year, it is not hard to choose an interesting program to sign for. Sometimes, the tough choice is the European country that you want to spend some time and study abroad. In such cases, arranging a pleasant road trip is a wise thing to do before making a final decision. So, if you find it difficult to pick from the universities in Europe and study abroad programs and scholarships, why not plan a Mediterranean trip this summer and see the wonders of Spain, France and Italy?

A great place for a holiday, the Mediterranean coast will give you the chance to see three wonderful European countries and visit many of their landmarks along the way. The trip could be made by car or by train from the beaches of Valencia to the marvelous city of Rome. The travel itinerary offered is for by train, so there are central train stations in all the suggested cities along the road. There is also an option to go from one city to the other with a Uber ride and also to fly buying affordable tickets from StudnetUnivesreSure, you can also arrange a road trip by bus with Bus2alpsOnce you choose the means of transport and the itinerary is arranged, the booking of the accommodation should be easy through Hotelscombined and museum passes with Viator.

You can start your road trip from the city of Valencia where is located the Don Quixote Spanish School. It has a nice historic center, beautiful wide beaches and many interesting art centers, museums and shops. Then the tour can lead to the historical city of Tarragona and its old ruins dating back from the Roman Empire. Then comes Barcelona where is to be found Barcelona International College. The port city is lively and colorful, full of young people and great options for entertainment.

Then comes France and the first city on the road is Narbonne, followed by the Cathar Castle which is well-preserved, set near the city of Carcassonne. Then you can head towards Nimes with its beautiful historical center. Interesting to be seen in the area is the region of Arles where is produced the unique Mulsum wine. Then comes the city of Avignon with its numerous historical landmarks and summer festivals. In case you have plenty of time, you can spend a few days on the study abroad program Summer in Provence. The rest of the settlements to be covered in France along the road include the town of Arles and the bullfighting ring there, and of course the charming cities of Marseille and Nice.

The first stop on the road in Italy is the city of Genoa, which has many historical sites, cultural places of interests and entertainment areas. Then comes the city of La Spezia, known as the Gulf of the Poets. This is a good spot to relax, as the next and final stop on your Mediterranean coast is the Italian capital. Rome could be so enchanting and overwhelming with sites, landmarks, squares, fountains that you will need at least five days there to see the main sites.
