Rome is beautiful during every season, but if you have found a few days for a getaway holiday before you continue your study abroad program, there are a few things to know about the Italian capital. In general, tourists visit the city of Rome during the spring and autumn months, however you will find plenty of tourists even in the hottest days of the summer. The quietest period in Rome is between the months of November and March, as there are no queues and crowds at the museums and galleries. February is a great month to get accommodation and flights at a bargain price. It is also the most relaxing time to see the landmarks of the Eternal City and get more attention from the staff in the galleries and museums and better service at the restaurants and cafes.
