This specially structured program takes place for 3 weeks of learning in Florence and 1 week of events in New York City. The program focus is event production from the perspectives of event management, communications & public relations, food & wine management, art direction. Final exams are held online in the 5th week. Generation Study Abroad Scholarship
Study Abroad Europe has partnered with the Institute of International Education (IIE) on Generation Study Abroad, a five-year initiative that brings leaders in education, business and governments together to double the number of U.S. college students studying abroad. In order to help achieve this goal, Study Abroad Europe is offering several merit based scholarships to students who demonstrate high academic achievement, at least a 3.0 GPA, and write an essay addressing “Your study abroad experience and how would you encourage other student to study abroad.” .
Awards:
Semester: $1,000/scholarship, up to 50 awards
Summer: $500/scholarship, up to 100 awards
Eligibility: To be considered, students must submit their scholarship application, study abroad program application (can be done online) and pay the requirement application fee of $ 95.
Deadlines:
Academic Year/Fall Semester: June 1
Spring Semester: October 1
Summer Sessions: March 1 ; April 1; May 1; June 1

Academic Study Abroad Scholarship
Study Abroad Europe offers awards that range from $250 to $1,000 per session. Fall, Spring, Academic Year and Summer students are eligible to apply.
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for the scholarship:
1. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B average) or higher.
2. Student must have applied and been accepted to one of our program. Students may submit a scholarship application before they are officially accepted and should do so if applying close to the deadline.
3. Student must obtain one letter of recommendation for the scholarship from a professor or an assistant professor.
4. Write one-page personal essay stating your goals for studying abroad, financial aid status and need, and/or special circumstances about which you would like us to know.
All applicants will be notified of scholarship decisions 3-5 weeks after the scholarship application deadline. If full payment is due before scholarship awards are issued, payment should be sent according to the Study Abroad Europe Payment Policies and Schedule. The scholarship amount will be deducted from the student’s balance, or a refund will be issued if the student has paid in full.
Guidelines for selected scholarship recipients:
Any student who withdraws before or during their program will forfeit their scholarship award.
